But I've only started it.
Things don't always work out fine right from the start. From my experience, it's usually rather the opposite.

If I kept doing this exercise every day, maybe I would become able to move my fingers at my brain's command a year later. Who knows?
So I snapped out.

Concentrating on my middle finger and pinky on the 5th string, I tempted to move my index finger from the 6th to the 4th. Wohhh, I've made it all right.

As for my ring finger ... well, I got a little help from my right hand, lifted it up and placed it on the 4th string, convincing myself that it's not 'cheating'.

Well, this whole exercise goes on like that, moving the index finger with the ring finger, and the middle finger with the pinky each in a set, moving them downwards to the thinner strings starting from the 6th string, then back up again.

And of course, this exercise is only the beginning, though you might already know that I got stuck right from the start.

It was January 19th Friday, no, it was already 20th Saturday to be precise, since it was past five o' clock in the morning.
Resultingly, it was, but I've stayed up all through Friday night tapping on my keyboards, to finish up my articles to upload for the 'Seasonal Calendar'.

I was pretty much frustrated, sitting in front of my PC for a long time, trying to squeeze out the right English expression to explain Japanese traditions. And with the help of some guiltiness that I've tapped all my Friday night away, I was quite unpleasant.

I wondered whether I should check it now or lay it over to tomorrow, but I thought that it might cheer me up a little after all the hard work ( well, to me it really is hard work writing all these contents and all ), and decided to take a peek at the JRA site ( JRA stands for Japan Racing Association, I think ... ) .

It should only take a couple of minutes, to just check the name of the horses and their gate orders, I said to myself and clicked open the page of the main race card. ( In the JRA web page, they provide a card page for each race, so that a card page respectively contains various informations about the corresponding race. )

What in the world is this???
I've been coming to this site to pick up racing informations for about four and a half years by now, and I think I know what should be displayed on this card page, and I'm quite sure about that. But what was THIS??

Is JRA trying to mess with ME?
Listen here, JRA. I've been betting my precious money on your races. In other words I've been depositing my precious money in 'JRA bank' for nearly ten years now, which most of them have been only for deposting, and I haven't drawn out even one-tenth of it.

I could have went on grumbling about how bad JRA treat their 'goooood customers', but I think I'll put a stop to it around here, since JRA seemed to have fixed the cards by Saturday night, and I didn't want to drag the bad feeling to the next week.
But it was a bad Friday night, and apparently not a good start for a Saturday morning.
